First week at the Missionary Training Center (MTC)

ia ora na
bonjour
hello

As we start our missionary service, we'd like to share with you the purpose of our mission: Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

We've had a very spiritual week of training and some fun times as well.

Here we are at the world map where all missionaries stop to take a picture pointing to their mission location

.

We ran into 2 missionaries from the Denver North Stake. First is Elder LeFevre with his companion and second is Elder Wright with his companion.

We were surprised when we walked into the laundry at the MTC and saw the rows of washers & dryers. There are 2 rows like this one. I guess it takes a lot of them to keep the clothes of 2,000 missionaries clean. Each group has an assigned time for the laundry.

This is a group picture of the senior missionaries that started this past Monday with us.

Here we are at the Tahiti Missionary Reunion in Salt Lake City on Friday night.

We met Brother & Sister Boman at the reunion. They were the office couple in Tahiti prior to us. We shared emails and they told us what to expect when we get to Tahiti.
