Ft. Lupton Ward Boundaries Compared to the Island of Tahiti
The accompanying graphic compares the size of our home ward, the Ft. Lupton Ward with the Island of Tahiti. The scale of both maps are very close. You can see that our ward is almost twice the size of Tahiti. The Island of Tahiti has 7 Stakes.

It is made up of six groups of islands. The largest and most populated island is Tahiti, in the Society Islands.
The island groups are:
Marquesas Islands
Society Islands [both the Iles Sous le Vent (Leeward) and Iles du Vent (Windward)]
Tuamotu Archipelago
Gambier Islands often considered part of the Tuamotu Archipelago
Austral Islands
Bass Islands often considered part of the Austral Islands
Aside from Tahiti, some other important atolls, islands, and island groups in French Polynesia are: Ahe-, Pora Pora, Hiva 'Oa, Huahine, Mai'ao, Maupiti, Meheti'a, Mo'orea, Nuku Hiva, Ra'ia-tea, Taha'a, Te Ti'aroa, Tupua'i, and Tu-pai.

Our Mission President and His Wife
Benjamin Tauraa Sinjoux, 57, and Tarita Alexandre Sinjoux, three children, Tahiti Papeete Mission; Pamatai Ward, Faaa Tahiti Stake. Brother Sinjoux serves as an executive secretary in the Pacific Area and is a former counselor in the Tahiti Papeete Mission, sealer in the Tahiti Papeete Temple, stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, and missionary in the Canada Montreal Mission. Service Center Manager, Corp. of the Presiding Bishop. Born in Papeete, Tahiti, to Alphonse and Riorita Hauata Sinjoux.
Sister Sinjoux serves as a ward Relief Society teacher and is a former stake Young Women president, stake Primary president, stake Relief Society president, ward Relief Society teacher, ward Young Women president, ward Primary president, and branch Relief Society president. Born in Papeete, Tahiti, to Roger and Rachel Hurahutia Alexandre.
